THE PATH TO DREAMS

I read a story once that said each tree breathes in and out once a day. And that their spirits are grounded deep in the earth. That made me think about daydreaming under a giant oak at the top of a path. It was a grounding and nourishing moment that I had to paint. Trees and open skies just seem to have the effect of soothing the soul.

The path I painted symbolically leads to dreams and reflections. In my life I've walked many paths and dreamed many dreams. I've had paths of success, failure, joy and laughter. The path leads to the reflection of those past, present and future dreams.
