I really liked the idea of painting the
dawn of a new day. It reminded me of my
childhood when I would wake up with
boundless energy like the hummingbird.
I'd jump out of bed with hope, renewal
and excitement, put on my slippers and
head downstairs to the kitchen where my
mother was making breakfast. Life was good.
16"x 20" oil painting on canvas.
