I never get tired of crossing the Golden Gate Bridge even after all these years. Every time is a different experience of tourists, boats, spectacular views, fog, pelicans and cars. It was about time that I painted my interpretation of the bridge that I so admire.

ROLLING WILD (aka Yosemite Falls)
I find myself reflecting a lot on the environment lately, trying to be mindful of all the things in nature that are taken for granted. And so, in this painting I've made a tribute to nature. It's my interpretation of the progression of water down the Yosemite Falls, into the Merced River and valley below. The granite heart is symbolic of my respect for the environment and this majestic event.

SoNAPA (aka Sonoma Napa)
While I was touring the Sonoma and Napa wine country one weekend I was thinking about the challenges of growing grapes. This, in turn, lead me to think about the challenges of bringing balance into my own life at times. One minute things can take an unusual turn, like the shadow in this painting. The next, like this painting, I'm balancing 10 different things. In the end, it always seems to work out.

Exploring the fine line between reality and dreams. A series of oil paintings inspired by neosurrealism and the
avant-garde.
GENESIS
This is a small painting that I completed many years ago and recently found tucked away on a back shelf. It represents the birth of something new. Although the egg has not hatch and can not see it's path yet, the wings are the eyes that carry it to its destiny.

MYSTICAL DONUT
Even da Vinci must have had rough days of being an artist. On those days his thoughts might have turned to comfort food. I sometimes escape to comfort food myself. In this painting, I took an old masters style and added some present day comfort...a chocolate donut.
