FAMILIAR CHANGE
There were many shifts happening during the time that I painted this. Technological, political and personal shifts all contributed to the concept of this painting. I sensed a great deal of change and continue to see vast and sweeping changes
in the world. This painting reflects all of these worldly changes but keeps many underlying aspects of familiarity that I can hold on to during times of uncertainty.

HEALING THE HEART
This surreal painting is my tribute to the Sierras, a place where I can calmly reflect while breathing in and out in peace. There were many changes occuring during the time that I painted this and things still continue to change. I wanted to reflect those changes in this painting while keeping some sense of familiarity and show that nature is a place of healing the heart amidst times of change and turmoil.

SERIOUS FUN
This painting continues along the theme of change. It was my intention, while painting this, to find lighthearted, carefree fun amidst serious changes and restructuring in our world.

Surrealism
Exploring the fine line between reality and dreams. A series of oil paintings inspired by surrealism and the avant-garde.
GENESIS SOLD
This is a small painting that I completed many years ago and recently found tucked away on a back shelf. It represents the birth of something new. Although the egg has not hatch and can not see it's path yet, the wings are the eyes that carry it to its destiny.

MYSTICAL DONUT
Even da Vinci must have had rough days of being an artist. On those days his thoughts might have turned to comfort food. I sometimes escape to comfort food myself. In this painting, I took an old masters style and added some present day comfort...a chocolate donut.

MEMORIES
This is a black and white etching with enhanced watercolor that I made many years ago and just recently brought out from my archives. I still love the grit of ink on metal and then transferred to paper. This print was a composite of random thoughts brought into order. It's what I imagined a day in the mind of a dog might be like...just random thoughts.
